Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information BrassLedger may receive through the website and how the service is intended to treat that information.

Information you provide

A demo checkout asks for first name, last name, email, and country. A contact form asks for name, email, and message. A newsletter form asks for an email address. Company contact fields on this version are intentionally blank. Do not submit sensitive identity documents, payment-card numbers, passwords, or other information that the forms do not request.

Local browser storage

The static site uses localStorage to remember cart entries, a coupon code, cookie-notice choice, and other interface state. This storage remains in the browser until it is cleared or replaced by the site. It is not a server database. The cart is used to carry a selected subscription from the plan page to the demo checkout.

Financial records

BrassLedger is designed to hold bookkeeping records such as invoices and expenses in its product workflow. Financial data is not sold. BrassLedger does not claim ownership of a user's underlying business records. Users should keep appropriate independent backups and should review any production privacy configuration before entering real financial information.

How information is used

Information supplied to the site is used to demonstrate checkout, respond to contact requests, remember local preferences, and operate the requested software workflow. The current static deployment has no custom backend. Any future production services, analytics, authentication, email delivery, or billing providers would require appropriate configuration and disclosures.

Sharing

BrassLedger does not sell financial data. A future production service may need service providers to deliver hosting, email, authentication, billing, or support. Such providers should receive only the information necessary for their contracted function and should be documented in a production privacy notice.

Security

No website can promise absolute security. The static site reduces server-side complexity, but browser storage and any future external service have their own risks. Users should use secure accounts and avoid entering information that a demo environment is not designed to protect.

Children and changes

The service is intended for business and adult users. Parents or guardians should supervise use by minors. This policy may be updated when the product or its data practices change. The effective version should be reviewed before continued use.

Contact

Company contact details are currently left blank in the site data file. A production release should publish a working privacy contact before collecting real customer records.
